The students of Batumi State University implemented the project ''Why the European Union?''

"Within the framework of the School of Civic Engagement 2023", the students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University: Salome Putkaradze, Tamta Paksadze, and Giorgi Oboladze successfully implemented the project "Why the European Union?"

Within the framework of the project, trainings were held for young people, where they discussed the following issues: the history and purpose of the establishment of the European Union, the values ​​of the European Union, the benefits of joining the European Union, myths and realities related to the European Union, the relationship between Georgia and the European Union, etc.

The trainings were held at the Community Education Center of Kedi Municipality and Batumi Youth Center. The trainings were conducted by the following invited guests:

Malkhaz Tchkadua-representative of the ‘’Transparency International Georgia’’;

Lasha Bajunaishvili - associate professor of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

Within the framework of the project, the authors also distributed informative flyers and stickers about the European Union.
