Students of Gori State University: Mariam Pavliashvili, Nini Gagloshvili, and Tamar Lekishvili are implementing the project ‘’Get to Know the Council of Europe Convention on Violence against Women and Domestic Violence. Within the framework of the project, the authors created a training module on domestic violence, femicide, and sexual harassment, and as part of the first activity, they conducted training with the members of the ‘’Biliki’’ youth club.

During the training, the authors shared information about the Istanbul convention, victim protection and support mechanisms, forms of domestic violence, femicide, and sexual harassment. The training was held in an active question-answer mode da included practical exercises that helped the participants to better analyze the theoretical material. The authors also discussed ways to prevent domestic violence, femicide, and sexual harassment.

''Civic Engagement School 2022'' is implemented with the financial support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office.
