The implementation of the student action projects continue in Telavi

Within the framework of the project ‘’Civic Engagement School 2021’’ Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University students: Guranda Gharibashvili, Tamaz Khalkhelauri, and Ucha Bochoridze are implementing the action project ‘’Raising Youth Awareness about the Election Process’’.

To achieve the aim of the project, a student organizing group conducted a two-day training. On the first day of the training, the following topics were discussed: election history, types, and periodicity, electoral process, referendum, plebiscite, civil liability, and activism. The training was conducted in an active question-and-answer mode, including both theoretical and practical parts.

The second day of the training was dedicated to discussing the ways of preventing violations during the elections. The second day also included a role play. At the end of the meeting, each participant was awarded a certificate.
