Photo Contest "Citizen In action"

With USAID financial support and within the framework of IFES Georgia’s Strengthening Electoral Processes (SEP) Program, the Civic Education Lecturers Association (CECLA) is pleased to announce a photo contest. The photo contest theme is

                                                       Citizen  in action

The photo contest is based on the Civics Guide prepared by IFES. Please consult the CELA website at  http://cela.ge/ge/system/files/efes_brochure_geo_f.pdf 

Eligibility Criteria:   

  • The photo contest is open to students from Georgian universities (from all three educational levels);
  • The photographs must be based on the theme of the Civics Guide - Civic Participation. Please, refer to the Civic Guide for more details;
  • Only one photograph per participant will be accepted;
  • The photographs used in other photo contests will be disqualified;
  • Please, submit high resolution copyrighted photographs. Note: photographs taken by mobile phones or those with any inscriptions or symbols on them will not be considered;
  • Along with photographs, the contestants must email a filled out application form.  Incomplete application forms or photographs alone will not be considered.  

Please email your photograph and an application form by December 10, 2014, to the following email: info@cela.ge .

A photo exhibition will be held on December 23, 2014. Three photographs will be selected (one by the jury selection, one through the Facebook “Like” number, and one through public voting during the exhibition).

The winners will receive valuable prizes.
